Max Willow is an instrumental fingerstyle guitarist and composer based in Vienna.

After having discovered guitarists like Eric Mongrain, Newton Faulkner and Mike Dawes he’s been inspired to transition from his electric guitar based background to Fingerstyle guitar.

Over the years Max has started to introduce a variety of components like effect pedals, loop stations and MIDI instruments to his playing to overcome the limitations of being only two handed.

For the past years, merging the digital and analog world to create ever evolving soundscapes has been Max’s pursuit.

Having started streaming his passion to the World in 2020 he has since recorded his debut album “Ebb and Flow” thanks to the support of his dedicated fanbase and community.

In 2023 Max has been announced winner of the Warsaw Fingerstyle Festival Competition, granting him a performance at Europe’s biggest guitar show – Guitar Summit 2024.

His main instruments are two custom built guitars by luthier Nick Benjamin.
